Professional Experience

Melissa Padilla acts as a legal counsel for local and international clients in financing transactions and projects, and corporate matters. She has been involved in multiple transactions and projects dealing with the negotiation and structuring of project finance, infrastructure finance, syndicated loans, AB loans, corporate loans, subordinated loans, credit facilities and financings to various financial institutions. Melissa also has experience in corporate transactions and corporate matters, including M&A, corporate reorganizations, and equity financing.

She works for financial institutions, multilateral banks, promotion agencies, funds and sponsors for which she has participated in several projects, transactions and financings covering diverse industries such as infrastructure, energy, gas, financial services, agribusiness, and education. Within her recent experience, Melissa has advised the concessionaire of the biggest infrastructure project in Peru, a gas pipeline to be built in the southern part of Peru.
